Biography
Dr. Stephanie Scott-Sullivan is an accomplished author, entrepreneur, educator, and grief coach who specializes in supporting educators—particularly women navigating the loss of their parents. Affectionately known as Dr. Steph, she is a certified educator with extensive experience bridging the fields of education and mental health.
With nearly 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Scott-Sullivan currently serves as a school counselor and behavioral health specialist. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of supportive and leadership roles, including mentor, alternative school moderator, mental health therapist, special education teacher, summer program lead instructor, corrections officer, and educational consultant for new teachers, paraprofessionals, and instructional coaches.
Beyond her formal roles, Dr. Scott-Sullivan is also a motivational speaker, presenter, and professional development facilitator, sharing her passion for personal growth, resilience, and educator well-being.
A proud graduate of a high school in Mississippi, she began her higher education journey at Alcorn State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology and a master’s degree in school counseling. She later continued her studies at Walden University, earning both an education specialist degree and a doctorate in educational leadership.
